Since 2017, 45 million people in the United States have participated in massive street protests for Climate Change, Abortion Rights (women’s rights), Racial Rights, Gender Rights, Gun legislation and more. Many protests lasted a day. Others lasted for weeks. Yet these massive protests have consistently failed to deliver substantial, permanent legislative change.
Nearly all social movement groups have struggled to enact legislation pertinent to their cause. While a few minor successes have occurred, most social movement groups have now experienced major setbacks due to recent supreme count decisions.
Five years ago, our non-profit embarked on a mission to research, identify and assess why huge organizations and massive street protests onsistently fail to deliver legislative change. This process took us one year of effort.
We then spent one year identifying the missing infrastructures, frameworks, components and workflows that organizations and social movements absolutely required to circumvent failures. Up to this point, we were not even sure if a solution was possible.
After determining a feasibility rating over 80% (based upon 2 years of effort), we determined that a solution was probable. We then spent two years of technology design defining technological requirements that are critical to delivering substantial legislative change. Our design efforts also included preemptive failure mitigation.
It then took us a year to code, test, QA, load-balance and deploy the primary frameworks and infrastructures required to support hundreds of organizations, 30 million activists, and thousands of integrated free press journalists (infrastructures deemed critical to providing the solution).
Primary Concepts to Understand:
- Coalitions – Empowering Common Goal Groups and Organizations:
- Based upon our two years of research and analysis, it became abundantly clear that a coalition of organizations infrastructure was a must-provide requirement.
- By providing organizations with the ability to create a new coalition, invite organizations to join their coalition, and allow organizations to apply to join an existing coalition, a coalition becomes an entity that is far more powerful than any single organization.
- Coalitions are a powerful concept that provides the means to deliver goals pertinent to the coalition and to each organization of the coalition.
- Coalitions reduce costs, risks, and timelines. Coalitions dramatically increase people resources and volunteers, allowing tasks and or responsibilities to be shared across all participating groups. Coalitions gain the attention of the media due to their combined relationships with the free press. Coalitions also have a very large group (millions) of combined social media followers.
- Note organizations will be provided with many benefits such being able to directly communicate to their members, blasting volunteerism invites to assist with tasks, issuing surveys to their members, fund-raising workflows, notifying the free press, aggregated demographic analysis reports of protest participants, etc. Also note organizations may join now.
- Common Collective:
- Based upon our research and analysis, we determined that a common shared collective of like-minded protesters, activists, members, and followers was an absolute must-provide requirement. Therefore, we created our platform to support a minimum collective of 30 million activists that may support many different causes using this integrated platform. Note Activists may join now.
- This “common shared” collective concept creates a permanent, reusable voting bloc that is too large, too well managed, too well directed, too empowered, and too powerful for politicians to ignore.
- Our solution was crafted to enable protestors to help organizations move forward far more effectively using less effort, cost and time.
- Note the collective (millions of like-minded activists / protesters) will also be provided with many benefits such as participating in feed-back polls and surveys, directly communicate with team leads or organization management, proactively volunteer to assist organizations in accomplishing tasks, etc. All opt-in settings of collective members (that define an activist’s categorical interest settings, volunteerism settings, interactivity settings) are respected.
- Free Press Integration:
- Based upon our research and analysis, we determined that integrating the free press into the platform is a must-provide requirement as without free press notifications and reporting, protests will predominantly fail, political lies remain hidden and legislators will ignore demands.
- Our platform provides free press journalists with notices, information and reports that match their reporting focus (journalist’s set their own opt-in interest category settings, opt-in activity settings and opt-in engagement settings. Note journalists may apply to join now.
- All free press journalists are humanly verified. They are also confirmed to adhere to the canons of their profession and our platform’s cornerstone policies. All free press journalist accounts are manually approved (or declined).
- Here’s a few features our platform will provide to journalists:
- Journalists receive all platform services at no cost in perpetuity.
- Journalists may submit requests for comments to an organization’s leader or press secretary to streamline the process relating to an article they are writing. They may also use this process to request interviews, touch base, etc.
- Organizations may submit stories, news releases and provide status updates to journalists.
- For all 7 phases of a protest, journalists will be provided with aggregated demographic analysis pivot drilldowns (country, state, city, age range, gender, race, education level, language, religion, political leaning, etc.) of all participating activists. Since these reports are aggregated (sub-totals), information about a specific activist is never disclosed.
- Our platform will notify journalists of “pending” activities such as when a batch of 50,000 letters are about to be delivered to a legislator (we slip in an AIR TAG into each batch delivery) enabling journalists to be on-site when the delivery arrives.
- Our platform will provide statistic-based reports to journalists that summarize telephone campaign call volumes, varying call outcomes, satisfaction ratings of participants ranked by legislator (complete with demographic drilldowns).
- Our platform will provide statistic-based reports to journalists that summarize mail delivery counts, mail delivery refusals, mail trashing/dumping, etc. ranked by legislator (complete with demographic drilldowns).
- Our platform will provide statistic-based reports to journalists that summarize hours of effort and funding promised by each activist to remove a legislator from office, ranked by legislator (complete with demographic drilldowns).
- Journalists will be provided the ability to issue polls and surveys to the collective (of verified activists) that is specific to many different interests. This feature will no doubt be used to issue extremely large political polls to millions of verified people (our collective). Rather then conduct a poll with a few thousand people, millions can be polled. This data will be reliable since the entire collective is surname verified, address verified, GPS verified to their address, etc.
- Protest Phases:
Our platform provides seven escalating phases of a protest. While the name of each phase may be familiar to you, each of these seven phases is unlike and far more advanced than anything you may have experienced. Our seven phases of a protest are:
-
- USPS First Class Letter Pressure Phase (activists may participate online, just online sign a letter that is batched and 1st class USPS mailed to targeted legislators). Imagine when 50k letters to a politician (generated by activists) are delivered every few days and that is reported the free press and friendly legislators.
- Scheduled Telephone & Social Media Pressure Phase. Imagine when millions of activists are scheduled to call a politician, complete with call scripts, telephony instructions and call outcomes are reported to the free press and friendly legislators.
- Street Signage Protest Phase (no protest license required). Imagine when 40 protesters, 100 yards apart, display signage at high traffic location areas specially call out legislators about their past votes, obstruction to prevent rights, flip-flops etc are reported to the free press and friendly legislators.
- Resignation Demand Petition Phase. – Imagine when millions of people demand a politician to resign that is reported to the free press and friendly legislators, complete with aggregated pivots to analyze and report.
- Legal Recall / Petition Phase (all signees are surname and address verified to streamline the legal validation process) – Imagine when millions of verified activists can meet thresholds that force legal processes to remove a politician from their office of which this process is reported to the free and friendly legislators, supported with analysis reports and pivots.
- Major Street Protest Phase (with tweakable templates, checklists, tasks & subtasks, for any or all cities and towns in all states) – Imagine major street protests that are coordinated to call out specific politicians, of which the free press and friendly legislators are notified to report.
- Huge Class-Action Lawsuits Phase – Elected politicians swear an oath to protect democracy and represent all of their constituents. Many have lied to their constituents and have thus broken their oath of office due to their political fear of losing votes. Many have remained silent or attempted to evade truth due to fearing losing votes. The rule of law, their sworn oath and political promises have been perverted. They must be held accountable. Mass-based civil lawsuits can uphold them to deliver their promises. Even if legal challenges fail, due to free press reporting and friendly legislator supporters, these lying politicians will removed and filed into the dustbin that will legally prevent them from ever running again.
Of importance, each of our 7 phases of a protest may last for months. Each phase of a protest may run concurrently with other phases. This is important as long pressure MUST be provided that results in hammering their 3rd part reporting polling numbers and approval ratings.
Based upon our research, long term private pressure, long term public pressure and long term international pressure are required to generate massive pressure on a politician. By forcing politicians to physically react to private pressure, by exposing politicians using public pressure (integrated with the free press and friendly congressional legislators) and by applying massive international pressure (from countries that provide rights and are onboard to support climate change) may designate the legislator’s region as being off-limits for concerts, unsafe to travel, etc.), This trifecta of political pressure will become unbearable. Their polling numbers will plummet. Negative news will occur each and every week, for months or even years, all of which is accomplished by activists of social movement groups.
Of importance, our separate phases generate multiple actions that a legislator must physically manage. For example, when 5 million people participate in Phase one and Phase two, a whopping 20 million actions would be generated that a legislator and their office staff must physically react to and manage. This gets their attention. When Phase 3 kicks in, politicians will quickly decide to support demands. Yet, for the more stubborn politicians, phases 4, 5, 6 and 7 will will occur.
Additionally, our non-profit intends to provide (by third quarter 2023) a powerful GET OUT THE VOTE system – Our intention is to provide the world’s most advanced template based get out the vote system (that can be tweaked and optimized) for any neighborhood, in all cities & counties, across every state. Future versions will support 7 other democratic based countries.
Recent Progress:
Since deploying the framework of our custom built Civil Voice Groups platform in eight democratic countries, we have now established connections with 15 major non-profit based social movement groups.
We have now connected with almost 400 Presidents, Executive Directors, National Directors, Senior Directors, Press Secretaries, Social Media Directors, etc from 15 specifically selected organizations. We choose these organizations since they represent the majority of the voting electorate (people that are concerned about women’s rights, voting rights, racial rights, and civil rights). We are now working to create a coalition of these groups that represent 19 million social media followers on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. This is a good start.
We need your Help NOW:
Our non-profit needs ONE-TIME $400k in funding to complete 12 “end-point” integrations (after accomplishing this, our platform will be permanently self-funded for decades to come). For complete these end-point UI interfaces, we need to hire 40 developers (of which we have) to complete this phase. Here’s how you can help now.
