Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by TrustNetIX World Community Society and its website Civil Voice Groups (“TrustNetIX” “Civil Voice Groups” “we,” “us,” and “our”) in the course of nonprofit society and our related online and offline offerings (collectively, the “Services”). All capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy will have the meanings set forth in the TrustNetIX Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

When you use our Services, you must firstly create an account of varying types. we may collect the following categories of personal information:

Information You Provide to Us

Account Information. When you create your account, we require your name, e-mail address, mailing address, mobile telephone number and various account preferences.

Surveys. You may be requested to define demographical information to help our services better report survey results.

Information We Collect Through Your Use of the Services

We collect certain information automatically when you use the Services. This information may include your Internet protocol (IP) address, MAC address, cookie identifiers, mobile carrier, GPS location and other information associated with your account and devices used to access the service.

Session Cookie.  We use a temporary session cookie when you logon to use the Services.  The cookie is SSL encrypted.  It does not contain personal information but it identifies your account via a server side SESSION.  No other information is stored in the cookie.  When you close your browser, the cookie is deleted.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect and process non-personally identifiable analytics information related to using our Services.  All data collected using Google Analytics is generic data that is not personally identifiable.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to help us best provide the Service.  This includes providing assistance when you request for assistance.

How We Disclose Your Information

We do not disclose your information to any entity what-so-ever.  Your information is solely used to provide our Services.

You are provided the ability to engage with other people using the Services at which time you can choose to utilize your public anonymous profile or your personally identifiable profile.

All information stored is internally managed on our private, secure services located in a commercial colocation.

All Services provided are opt-in based.  You can enjoy access to many different Services or restrict interaction to specific features and functionalities of the Services.  You have the ability to change your opt-in preferences at any time.

No Advertising

All Services are advertising free which means that our Services prohibit advertising.

Data Privacy

All of your personal data is considered private and confidential.  We will never provide your data or sell your data to any entity what-so-ever.

We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

Legal Compliance

Personal data may be provided to the FBI, CSA, Homeland Security or other entity as legally required by court order.

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

We do not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

If there are any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post a notice of the update on our Site, or as otherwise required by applicable law.
